Haiku for You and Your Consulting Firm

Change of pace today.
Only haiku, not advice.
You deserve some fun.

One more week gone, and
the proposal isn’t signed
Should I call again?

Hooray, they said yes!
Let’s review the task timeline.
Uh oh. We owe what?!

She greets me warmly.
The flight attendant knows me.
Another Monday.

The client requests
an extra analysis.
More work? Aaack. Scope creep.

Our report, page 12,
the client hears what he wants.
Now he is happy.

Presentation done,
at last this job is finished.
Where’s the next project?

Other consultants
need a respite from their toil.
Post your clever verse.

It was fun because smartypants like you joined the fray, Marlene. I’m glad you did!

It’s wonderful to see meter about metrics. Your combination of art and linear thinking is very fun, Ismail. Thank you for sharing your wit!
